The Pigs

The pigs on the farm are born and reared at Pilford Farm.  They are reared in the traditional way and spend most of the lives outside enjoying the Dorset countryside, with their welfare always being the most important thing.  We keep Large White pigs, which thrive both inside and out.  Large Whites are well known for producing meat that is full of flavour.  Our boar is called Trevor and he enjoys a muddy puddle in the summer to cool off and having a head rub every day.
